Thawing & Cooking Guidelines

Following are some product basics to insure our products not only meet, but also exceed your expectations.
 

Basic Thawing Instructions

- DO NOT remove food from package before thawing

- DO NOT rinse food, once thawed remove any excess juices with a paper towel.

- Thaw product in room temperature water. Multiple items may require a change in water.
Basic Cooking Instructions

- ALL products will cook faster than conventional products due to the purity of the product (i.e., no additives).

- DO NOT overcook the food or food may dry out. Remember you can always cook for an additional minute or two.
 
For your convenience, many of our products can be cooked from frozen. However, products in the raw, such as our ocean fresh seafood, dry-aged beef, veal, pork, lamb and free-range chicken obtain the best flavor when prepared from the thawed state. Items that can be cooked from frozen include:

Beef, Pork: Steak Burgers, Yankee-Style Pot Roast, Beef Wellington, Beef Enchiladas, Chicago Dogs, Meatballs, Bratwursts, Baby-Back Ribs.

Poultry: Assorted Marinated Chicken, Lemon Chicken, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Chicken Kiev, Herb Stuffed Chicken, Chicken Fajitas, Roast Chicken, Duck, Chicken Enchiladas, Chicken Tenderloins, Chicken Capri, Chicken Pot Pies, Buffalo Wings, Chicken Fritters.

Seafood: Tavern Halibut, Sole Elites.

Specialties: Apple & Strawberry Crepes, Gourmet Pizzas, Individual Pizzas, Eggplant Rollatini, Garden Burgers, Three Cheese-Twice Baked Potatoes.
