4 slices bacon
4 oz cheddar cheese, sliced
Hot dog buns
Preparation
Carefully make a slice down the middle of each hot dog making sure not to cut it in half. Stuff with cheddar cheese. Wrap bacon around stuffed hot dog.
Place on broiler pan and broil for 35 minutes. Flip frank around until bacon is cooked through. Remove from pan and serve in a bun

1 hamburger roll, per guest
Ketchup
Mustard
Pickle relish
Chopped onions
Preparation
Cut the hot dogs into thin slices (about 8 worms per hot dog).
Boil or microwave the hot dog slices until the slices curl like worms. Serve cooked worms on a bun and add preferred condiments.
Gamma’s Molasses Cookies
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup light molasses
1 egg
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground allspice
(add an extra pinch/sprinkle of cinnamon and clove)
Beat shortening, brown sugar, molasses, and egg in large bowl until blended; mix in remaining ingredients.
Refrigerate dough 2 to 3 hours.
Roll dough on floured surface to 1/4" thickness; cut into decorative shapes with 2 to 3 inch cookie cutters.
Bake on greased and lightly flour dusted cookie sheets until browned, 8 to 10 minutes.
Lightly sprinkle with white sugar while hot and cool on wire racks.
