Personal Gourmets number one steak. These prime grade steaks are the second most tender beef cut. Almost as tender as filet mignon but have the hearty flavor of a New York strip or Ribeye. 

8 ounce size makes it easy to get the right portions for your busy weeknight meals or throw on the grill at laid back weekend barbecue.


4 Personal Gourmet Flat Iron Steaks
1 package (1.25 oz) taco seasoning mix
1/2 cup water
8 to 10 flour tortillas
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1/2 cup chopped tomato
2 cups shredded lettace
2 cups shredded cheddar or monterey jack cheese


In a large non-stick skillet, heat steak, taco seasoning mix and water, bring to boil, then reduce heat and cook for 8 to 10 minutes.

Heat tortilla as directed on package.

Spoon warm steak onto tortilla and top with green onions, tomato, lettace and    cheese.  Fold tortilla over filling.

Makes 10 small or 8 burrito size.

7 Personal Gourmet Flat Iron Steaks

2 bundles scallions (diced)

1 small yellow onion (diced)

2 oz chopped fresh ginger (peeled & chopped)

1 large green apple (peeled & chopped)

2 ¼ cups soy sauce

½ cup cooking Marcella wine

1 large green pepper (chopped)

2 cups sugar

1/3 cup sesame oil

½ cup sesame seeds

5 large garlic cloves, chopped



Slice the steak as thin as you can (shave it if you can), not to be thicker that ¼ inch.

Put sliced steak into a  large bowl with sugar and apple. Stir until blended.

Add the rest of your ingredients and mix well.

Marinate overnight (at least 12 hours, the longer the better!).

Saute all ingredients in large frying pan or Stir fry.

You can serve this over rice or oriental noodles!
